LILY TOPPLES THE WORLD Drive-In Screening with Filmmaker Q&A

Head over to Tech City in Kingston, New York on July 16th for a special drive-in screening of WFF alum Jeremy Workman's SXSW award-winning film LILY TOPPLES THE WORLD courtesy of Discovery Plus and presented in collaboration with BLUEprint. The documentary profiles YouTuber and viral sensation Lily Hevesh, a world-class domino toppler who is one of the only women in her field. The screening will be accompanied by a live Q&A with Jeremy about the making of the film.

Tickets are $15 per person, one car per order. Doors open 7:30pm, film starts at 9pm.

LILY TOPPLES THE WORLD follows 20-year-old Lily Hevesh—the world's greatest domino toppler and the only woman in her field—in a coming-of-age story of artistry, passion, and unlikely triumph.

Filmed for over 3 years across countless cities and featuring appearances by Jimmy Fallon, Katy Perry, Will Smith, YouTuber Casey Neistat, and a steady stream of Gen-Z creators, LILY TOPPLES THE WORLD is a coming-of-age story cloaked within a unique portrait of an artist, a story of how passion and creativity can make dreams come true, and an unlikely American tale of a quiet Chinese adoptee who transforms into a global artistic force with over 1 billion YouTube views.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:

Jeremy Workman is the director of the documentaries THE WORLD BEFORE YOUR FEET (Greenwich Entertainment / Kino Lorber), MAGICAL UNIVERSE (IFC Films / Sundance Selects), and WHO IS HENRY JAGLOM? (First Run Features), among others. Jeremy's documentaries have been released in theaters and on TV throughout the United States and played at such film festivals as SXSW, Tribeca, AFI, Vancouver, Melbourne, DOC NYC, Hamptons, among several others.

His documentary THE WORLD BEFORE YOUR FEET - about Matt Green’s mission to walk every street of New York City - was released in over 75 US cities during 2018/2019. Executive Produced by Jesse Eisenberg, it was hailed upon its release and played in US and Canadian theaters for nearly 6 months. It currently stands at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Previously, Jeremy's 2014 documentary MAGICAL UNIVERSE - about outsider artist Al Carbee - was released theatrically across the US by IFC Films. The documentary won several film festival awards and was a Los Angeles Times and Village Voice Critic's Pick upon its release. It was featured by The New York Times as 'recommended watching' when it debuted on Netflix in 2015.

Jeremy's debut documentary WHO IS HENRY JAGLOM? won Best Documentary Award at the Slamdance Film Festival and subsequently premiered on PBS's series POV. The film was championed by the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, as well as by film critic Roger Ebert.

Additionally, Jeremy is well-known for his editing work, particularly for indie movie trailers. A two-time Emmy award nominee, Jeremy is the Creative Director of Wheelhouse Creative, a movie trailer company that caters to indie film. In this capacity, he has edited over dozens movie trailers and high profile creative montage.

Recently, Jeremy was brought on by the director Kirsten Johnson to edit the fantasy dance sequences in the documentary DICK JOHNSON IS DEAD.
