The Woodstock Film Festival's annual Summer Youth Film Lab is returning for its fourth season! Generously underwritten by an anonymous donor, this free three-week intensive filmmaking bootcamp provides Hudson Valley teens with the equipment and expertise to create their own original films.

Participants are guided through every step of the filmmaking process, including inception, production and post-production in a series of individual courses taught by film industry professionals and program instructors. A highlight of the program is the distinguished roster of guest mentors that participate year after year. Past mentors include actor Kelsey Grammar (CHEERS, FRASIER, HANK, BOSS), director Debra Granik (DOWN TO THE BONE, WINTER’S BONE, LEAVE NO TRACE), producer Peter Saraf (THE FAREWELL, A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE), screenwriter Ron Nyswaner (PHILADELPHIA, RAY DONOVAN, HOMELAND) and many more!
