Sharing the Love For our Alumni Films and Filmmakers

The Woodstock Film Festival filmmaking community is filled with a strong passion for their craft, which fills our hearts with much joy. With such talent and drive, it’s no surprise that films that are seen at our annual festival and throughout our year-round programming events go on to get national attention and nominations for prestigious awards.

Join us in celebrating their most recent accomplishments:

  • AMERICANISH, which screened at the 22nd Annual Woodstock Film Festival, was acquired by Sony.

  • 18 1/2, directed by Dan Mirvish, which was shown at WFF in 2021, has been picked up by STARZ and will start streaming on February 21st.

  • THE PICTURE TAKER premieres on PBS on January 30th and will be available for streaming afterward.

  • HANNAH HA HA will be getting its theatrical release in February through Fandor! At each screening, there will be Q&A’s to follow with the filmmakers, as well as informal after parties. Save the dates:

    • Fri 2/10 – AMC Empire 25 (234 W 42nd St, NY, NY 10036)

    • Sat 2/11 – AMC Empire 25 (234 W 42nd St, NY, NY 10036)

    • Tues 2/14 – Alamo Drafthouse Manhattan (28 Liberty Street, NY, NY 10005)

  • THE QUIET EPIDEMIC was acquired by First Run Features earlier this year and screened at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, New York on January 23rd. It is still showing in select theaters over the next few months.
