Oscar®-Nominations See Many Woodstock Film Festival Films

The 2023 Oscars Nominations were announced this morning, and we are so delighted to share that many of the films in connection to the Woodstock Film Festival were nominated for awards across many of the categories.

For her knockout performance in TO LESLIE, a film produced by our dear friend and board member Claude dal Farra, Andrea Riseborough is nominated for Actress in a Leading Role.

Several of the powerful documentaries we've screened in venues across the Hudson Valley have been nominated for Best Documentary, including ALL THAT BREATHES, FIRE OF LOVE, ALL THE BEAUTY AND THE BLOODSHED, and THE MARTHA MITCHELL EFFECT.

Film favorites from the 23rd Annual Woodstock Film Festival made the nominations list as well: EMPIRE OF LIGHT is nominated in one category. THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN has swept the nominations in a total of nine categories (!), and TRIANGLE OF SADNESS is nominated in three. Both films are nominated for Best Picture.
