Message from our Executive Director: #TheShowMustBePaused

Dear Friends,

The Woodstock Film Festival stands together with our black colleagues, co-workers, patrons and filmmakers, and everyone, including those in law enforcement and criminal justice, who are fighting to end systemic racism and police brutality in this country.

Filmmakers have a powerful tool in their hands, one that can inspire, empower, educate, and bring about change. We stand with the bold filmmakers who strive to dig deep and turn darkness into light. And we stand with those whose stories are brought to light through the art of film, rattling us and inspiring us. Together we can make our world a better place.

Today, on Blackout Tuesday, we call on you to stand with us in solidarity and reconnect with your community for #TheShowMustBePaused.

Stay safe. Do good. Be Peaceful. Be Brave.

Yours as always,

Meira Blaustein
