MIKE HASSAN

MIKE HASSAN entered independent filmmaking in 2001 as a founding member of Deerpath Films, the company behind Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever. A corporate lawyer specializing in intellectual property and acquisitions, he’s worked across film, music, and design. Mike authored Crash and Burn (HarperCollins), optioned by Sony, and in 2017 founded Tall Pines Entertainment, serving as executive producer on Super Troopers 2 and the award-winning Follow Her (2022). His latest feature is in post-production, with another set to film in the Hudson Valley. Known for his relentless enthusiasm, he also “plays” classical music poorly on an old Steinway.
