The artwork will be revealed to the public for the first time, offering a visual homage to the festival’s roots and its evolution into a premier event for filmmakers and film enthusiasts alike.

Long-time friend of the festival, Matt Dillon brings his star power, artistic talents, and deep connection to independent cinema to this special event that will officially kick off the festival’s 25th season. Dillon’s unique creation of this year’s poster underscores the festival’s commitment to celebrating cinematic excellence, independent spirit, and artistic innovation.

The poster captures the spirit and legacy of the Woodstock Film Festival, reflecting its journey over the past quarter-century. Don't miss out on this exclusive opportunity to support the festival and own a piece of its history.

Cocktails, mocktails, and light refreshments will be served.

Immediately following the signing, guests have the option to join us upstairs for an intimate performance by renowned bassist and vocalist Gail Ann Dorsey. Purchasing a ticket that includes the performance is required. All proceeds from the performance benefit the Woodstock Film Festival’s mission.

ABOUT MATT DILLON: Matt Dillon‘s successful film career spans over three decades and has showcased his wide range of dramatic and comedic talents, including his arresting performance co-starring as a racist cop in Crash, and his hilarious role as an obsessed private investigator in There’s Something About Mary. Dillon made his feature film directorial debut with City of Ghosts, and directed and executive-produced the documentary El Gran Fellove.

ABOUT GAIL ANN DORSEY: With a distinguished career as a session musician, she is perhaps best known for her long time in David Bowie‘s band, from 1995 to the present day. From 1993 to 1996, Dorsey also recorded and toured extensively with Tears for Fears, and collaborated on songwriting with the band. Her diverse range of work includes performances and/or recordings with, among others, David Bowie, Lenny Kravitz, Bryan Ferry, Boy George, the Indigo Girls, Khaled, Jane Siberry, The The, Skin, Gwen Stefani, Charlie Watts, Seal, Gang of Four, Susan Werner, Ani DiFranco and Dar Williams.

ABOUT THE VENUE

Electric House is the newest sustainability project from North River the longstanding local architecture and design-build firm which will now operate its flagship office and showroom presenting net zero energy design in this much-loved 1840s brick storefront building in the center of the historic hamlet of Stone Ridge, NY.
