Before the screening, enjoy insights and stories from writer and director Barbara Kopple herself.

I miss Michael Lang so much. He was 24 when he put together the first Woodstock which I was not at, but I promised if any more Woodstock’s were organized by Michael I would be there to film and I was.
— Barbara Kopple

This year, as we celebrate the 55th anniversary of the iconic Woodstock Music Festival, we'll reflect on its legacy of peace, love, and music.

Stop by the snack bar for freshly popped popcorn, homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches, and a variety of candy. Quench your thirst with a refreshing drink at the biergarten. Tom’s Hot Diggity Dogs and More will have nachos, pretzels, sausage and peppers, and of course: hot dogs! It's all set to make your drive-in experience even more enjoyable!

Doors open at 8pm, the Q&A begins at 8:30pm, and the film begins at 9pm.

ABOUT THE FILM: Chronicling one of the mythic cultural events of the century, the Woodstock festivals of 1969, 1994, and 1999, this film far surpasses whatever presuppositions one may bring to the theater. As an exploration of cultural memory, it resonates with powerful images of the search by two generations for community amidst nearly anarchic, and vividly disparate, celebrations of music and youth. Replete with incredible performances and brimming with outrageous acts of self-expression, sexual liberation, and rebellion that have defined the Woodstock experience, My Generation is a film that speaks volumes about generational contrast and change; about peace and love and violence; about commercial exploitation, music, and artistry; and about a profound desire for fraternity and self-fulfillment.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Legendary documentarian and two-time Academy Award® winner (HARLAN COUNTY U.S.A., AMERICAN DREAM) plus more than 40 films, including: SHUT UP & SING, GUMBO COALITION, MISS SHARON JONES.
