ITHAKA Special Screening + in-person Q&A with Julian Assange’s Father and Brother

  • Tinker Street Cinema 132 Tinker Street Woodstock, NY, 12498 United States (map)

Join us for a special screening of ITHAKA, an intimate look at the legal battle and behind-the-scenes campaign to free WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who, to some, has become an emblem of an international arm wrestling over freedom of the press and government corruption. Directed by Ben Lawrence.

Julian’s father, John Shipton -- the main subject in the film -- and Julian's brother, Gabriel Shipton, will be in attendance to participate in a post-screening discussion. Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Rick Rowley will moderate the Q&A.

Doors open at 6:30pm, film begins at 7:00pm. Q&A to follow.
