Filmmakers Residency

The Woodstock Film Festival Filmmakers Residency / Incubator is a four-week immersive development program presented in collaboration with White Feather Farm that supports four emerging to established filmmakers working in narrative and documentary film. Rooted in the natural landscape of the Catskills, the residency provides a focused, communal environment for artists developing feature-length projects that engage with urgent social and environmental issues. Residents receive mentorship from accomplished filmmakers, participate in curated craft sessions and advisory meetings, and are invited to connect with the rhythms of life on a working organic farm. The program is an extension of the Woodstock Film Festival’s long-standing commitment to nurturing independent filmmakers whose work explores the relationship between humanity, community, and the planet.
