Inspired by true events, Foster Boy follows Michael Trainer (Matthew Modine), a litigator who has to represent a young man suffering after years of abuse in foster care. Oct. 5 at Upstate Films Rhinebeck and Oct. 6 at Woodstock Playhouse.
After the Murder of Albert Lima (World Premiere) Paul Lima travels to Honduras with two bounty hunters to capture the his father’s killer. Oct. 4 at Upstate Films Rhinebeck and Oct. 5 at Woodstock Bearsville.
Paradise Without People (East Coast Premiere) This harrowing film chronicles the journey of two Syrian refugee families trying to build a new life in Europe. Oct. 4 at Upstate Films Rhinebeck and Oct. 5 at Bearsville.
New Homeland
This heartfelt film documents five Syrian and Iraqi refugee boys as they attend asleep-away camp in Canada. Oct. 5 at Upstate Films Woodstock and Oct. 6 at Upstate Films Rhinebeck.
