Following the screening, producer Lisa Cortes and Apollo historian Billy Mitchell took questions from the audience. Longtime festival contributor and two-time Academy Award winner Barbara Kopple is back with her heartfelt documentary about five young Syrian and Iraqi refugee boys attending a sleepaway camp in the Canadian wilderness.

With climate change, gun reform and immigration in the news almost daily, what role can film play to expound on some of these issues? Join filmmakers Clement Guerra (The Condor and the Eagle), Peter Nelson (The Pollinators), Barbara Kopple (New Homeland), Cheryl Horner McDonough (Parkland Rising), and March for Our Lives co-founder Cameron Kasky as they expound on their work.
