The Woodstock Film The Woodstock Film Festival has long evolved far beyond its origins as an annual fall event, becoming a dynamic cultural and educational hub while staying true to its mission of nurturing filmmakers and fostering diversity, community, and artistic expression. Year-round, WFF engages and inspires audiences with a rich array of cinematic experiences, including special screenings, Academy Awards FYC events with filmmaker Q&As, industry meetups, networking events, panels, workshops, and exclusive special events. Collaborating at times with other organizations, WFF continues to serve as a powerful cultural and economic force for New York’s Hudson Valley and beyond.

Join us for a dazzling evening at Assembly, Kingston’s exciting new venue in the Uptown Stockade District, as we celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night—The Oscars®! Indulge in delicious food, drinks, and entertainment, and enjoy a live screening of the Academy Awards surrounded by fellow film lovers.

This year is extra special, as a record-breaking 14 Oscar®-nominated films have screened at the 2024 Woodstock Film Festival, including Emilia Perez, A Real Pain, Anora, Flow, No Other Land, Porcelain War—just to name a few.

An online conversation with Ron Nyswaner, creator and showrunner of FELLOW TRAVELERS, currently airing on Paramount Plus/Showtime and earning rave reviews.

Moderated by film and television producer Peter Saraf, Nyswaner discussed the origin of the series and the challenges faced in its creation, and answered audience questions about this “provocative” and “epic” show.
