EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES
The Woodstock Film Festival Filmmakers Residency / Incubator is a four-week immersive program supporting narrative and documentary filmmakers developing feature-length projects that engage with urgent social and environmental issues. Hosted in collaboration with White Feather Farm, the residency offers mentorship, craft development, and a communal, nature-centered setting in the Catskills. The program extends the Woodstock Film Festival’s longstanding commitment to nurturing independent filmmakers whose work reflects the interconnectedness of humanity and the planet.
A space for Hudson Valley and Catskills filmmakers to connect, collaborate, and be inspired. Join fellow creatives for networking, open conversation, guest speakers, and insight into the Woodstock Film Festival and the future of independent filmmaking.
Generously underwritten by the NoVo Foundation, the Woodstock Film Festival’s annual Youth Film Lab is a free, three-week intensive filmmaking bootcamp for 12-15 Hudson Valley teens that provides participants with the equipment and expertise to create their own original films.
