Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite, which won the Cannes Film Festival’s top prize, is a Korean black comedy in which an all-unemployed family takes interest in the wealthy Parks, until an unexpected incident entangles them. Playing tonight at 8:30PM at Woodstock Playhouse.

Brazilian filmmaker Flavio Alves’s The Garden Left Behind, a New York premiere and audience award winner at South By Southwest, follows the plight of thirty-year-old Tina, an outspoken advocate for transgender rights, and her grandmother, Eliana, struggling to make a life for themselves as undocumented immigrants in New York City. Screening today Oct 6 at 12:45PM at Upstate Films Woodstock.

Marriage Story


Marriage Story is Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach's incisive and compassionate portrait of a marriage breaking up and a family staying together. The film stars Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver. Laura Dern, Alan Alda, and Ray Liotta co-star.
